About the Film
When a married couple shares a special dinner to discuss impending divorce, their elegant evening takes an unexpected turn.
— Christopher Seehase, DirectorWhen creating a short film, I strive to capture a heightened sense of reality. On a shortened time scale, everything is compressed, actions are extreme, emotions are amplified.

Christopher Seehase
Christopher Seehase grew up in the small upstate town of Hyde Park, New York. He attended Fordham University in New York City where he studied film, theater, and business, graduating with a degree in finance.
While working adjacent to the World Trade Center site following 9/11, he was diagnosed with cancer and spent five years in recovery. With a clean bill of health and strong determination, Christopher entered the film industry full time.
He started as a production assistant, eventually finding work as a floor prep-technician at a camera rental house. Two years later, he successfully tested into membership of the International Cinematographer's Guild, I.C.G. Local 600.
He has spent the last seventeen years in the camera department working his way up from loader, to 2nd AC, 1st AC, and Operator on various projects from television, to independent features, to major Hollywood productions.
When he is not working on set, Christopher teaches cinematography at The School Of Visual Arts, SVA in New York. He is an avid reader of history and fiction. He enjoys writing scripts and stories in his spare time, and above all, enjoys being behind the camera. "The Dinner Guest" is Christopher's first release as a writer / director.
